About Us Established in 2000, The Women's Business Center of North Carolina (WBC) is a partnership program between the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development (IMED) and the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The center's mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency for all women of North Carolina through entrepreneurship. The Women's Business Center is specifically designed to provide tools and opportunities to help women entrepreneurs achieve their goals. |

The Women's Business Center is partially funded by the U. S. Small Business Administration's Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO).
